USBF Cap

USBF Cap. The  U.S. Commission of Fish and Fisheries was established in 1871 to promote & preserve the fisheries of America. Renamed the Bureau of Fisheries (USBF) in 1903, it had its own flag that was used from 1917 to 1939. In 1940, the USBF was merged with the Bureau of Biological Surveys to become the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
